Forse \u00e8 un po\u2019 forzato dire che chiunque corra abbia un obiettivo\u2026 ma \u00e8 la mia opinione, e a me non sembra poi cos\u00ec esagerato.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Se corri con un obiettivo, bene.<br>Se corri senza, allora il tuo obiettivo \u00e8 proprio non averne uno \u2014 e va benissimo cos\u00ec.<\/p><p>Cercando una definizione semplice di obiettivo (meta), ho trovato la seguente definizione nella letteratura: \u00ab ci\u00f2 che un individuo tenta di ottenere; \u00e8 l\u2019oggetto o il fine di un\u2019azione \u00bb (Locke, Shaw, Saari, &amp; Latham, 1981, p. 126) e \u00ab raggiungere un livello specifico di padronanza, di norma entro un periodo specifico \u00bb (Locke &amp; Latham, 2002, p. 705).<\/p><p>Nel mio caso, da quando ho infilato le scarpe da running nell\u2019aprile 2019, l\u2019obiettivo \u00e8 stato scendere sotto 1h24 nella mezza maratona.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-1fa752f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1fa752f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-8766cb8\" data-id=\"8766cb8\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53d8329 elementor-widget elementor-widget-video\" data-id=\"53d8329\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;video_type&quot;:&quot;hosted&quot;,&quot;controls&quot;:&quot;yes&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"video.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-hosted-video elementor-wrapper elementor-open-inline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<video class=\"elementor-video\" src=\"https:\/\/buddypacer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG_0454.mov\" controls=\"\" preload=\"metadata\" controlslist=\"nodownload\"><\/video>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e46cff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e46cff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Perch\u00e9 gli obiettivi contano cos\u00ec tanto<\/h2><p>Lo dice la scienza, e non me lo sto inventando \u2014 non \u00e8 solo una sensazione. Fissare obiettivi \u00e8 uno dei motori pi\u00f9 potenti della crescita personale. Gli obiettivi difficili portano a prestazioni migliori rispetto a quelli facili, all\u2019assenza di obiettivi o persino a obiettivi astratti del tipo \u201cfai del tuo meglio\u201d (Latham, 2009).<\/p><p>Il mio miglior tempo nella mezza maratona era 1h40, quindi per me 1h24 era gi\u00e0 molto ambizioso. Avrei potuto puntare pi\u00f9 in alto? Ne dubito. Ma la cosa pi\u00f9 importante che la corsa mi ha insegnato non \u00e8 il tempo che raggiungi: la vera sfida non \u00e8 iniziare a correre, \u00e8 continuare a correre con il passare dei giorni, dei mesi e degli anni.<\/p><p>E non lo dico solo io: la costanza \u00e8 il principale ostacolo per la maggior parte dei runner (Franken, Bekhuis &amp; Tolsma, 2022).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Motivazione intrinseca: il carburante invisibile<\/h2><p>Nel mio caso, la motivazione intrinseca \u00e8 stata fondamentale: volevo correre forte, sentirmi in forma e stare bene nel mio corpo. La Self-Determination Theory (Ryan &amp; Deci, 2000; 2017) spiega che quando corriamo per ragioni interne \u2014 piacere, crescita personale o benessere \u2014 \u00e8 pi\u00f9 probabile che manteniamo l\u2019abitudine nel lungo periodo.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Quando non ci sono obiettivi chiari, quella motivazione intrinseca si attenua: perdiamo il contatto con i nostri valori e con il \u201cperch\u00e9\u201d corriamo. La letteratura lo conferma: la mancanza di obiettivi chiari \u00e8 una delle principali barriere, insieme alla bassa autostima, alla paura o alla mancanza di <a href=\"https:\/\/buddypacer.com\/it\/por-que-pospones-salir-a-correr-y-como-evitarlo\/\" target=\"_self\">supporto sociale<\/a> (Collazo-Casti\u00f1eira et al., 2025).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Il calo dopo aver raggiunto un obiettivo<\/h2><p>La cosa curiosa \u00e8 che i miei cali di motivazione pi\u00f9 grandi sono arrivati proprio dopo aver raggiunto un obiettivo. E non sono l\u2019unico: molti runner dicono la stessa cosa.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Quest\u2019anno ho fermato il cronometro a Getafe a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/13455867942\/best-efforts\" target=\"_self\">1h24\u201948\u201d<\/a>. Potrei dire: obiettivo raggiunto. Non tutti i giorni abbiamo chiaro a cosa vogliamo puntare, ed \u00e8 normale. Ma avere un obiettivo di allenamento quotidiano, anche piccolo, aiuta a mantenere la motivazione.<\/p><p>Se hai gi\u00e0 un obiettivo, condividilo. Se non ce l\u2019hai, unisciti a quello di un altro runner che si adatti al tuo orario, al tuo ritmo e alla tua zona.
