C\u2019est peut-\u00eatre un peu pousser de dire que toute personne qui court a un objectif\u2026 mais c\u2019est mon avis, et pour moi ce n\u2019est pas si tir\u00e9 par les cheveux.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Si tu cours avec un objectif, tr\u00e8s bien.<br>Si tu cours sans objectif, alors ton objectif est justement de ne pas en avoir \u2014 et c\u2019est tr\u00e8s bien aussi.<\/p><p>En cherchant une d\u00e9finition simple d\u2019un objectif (but), j\u2019ai trouv\u00e9 la suivante dans la litt\u00e9rature : \u00ab ce qu\u2019un individu cherche \u00e0 obtenir ; c\u2019est l\u2019objet ou la finalit\u00e9 d\u2019une action \u00bb (Locke, Shaw, Saari, &amp; Latham, 1981, p. 126), ainsi que \u00ab atteindre un niveau sp\u00e9cifique de ma\u00eetrise, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement dans un d\u00e9lai sp\u00e9cifique \u00bb (Locke &amp; Latham, 2002, p. 705).<\/p><p>Dans mon cas, depuis que j\u2019ai enfil\u00e9 des baskets en avril 2019, mon objectif a \u00e9t\u00e9 de passer sous 1 h 24 au semi-marathon.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-inner-section elementor-element elementor-element-1fa752f elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"1fa752f\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-inner-column elementor-element elementor-element-8766cb8\" data-id=\"8766cb8\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-53d8329 elementor-widget elementor-widget-video\" data-id=\"53d8329\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-settings=\"{&quot;video_type&quot;:&quot;hosted&quot;,&quot;controls&quot;:&quot;yes&quot;}\" data-widget_type=\"video.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-hosted-video elementor-wrapper elementor-open-inline\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<video class=\"elementor-video\" src=\"https:\/\/buddypacer.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/IMG_0454.mov\" controls=\"\" preload=\"metadata\" controlslist=\"nodownload\"><\/video>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e46cff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e46cff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Pourquoi les objectifs comptent autant<\/h2><p>La science le dit, et je n\u2019invente rien \u2014 promis, ce n\u2019est pas juste une \u201cimpression\u201d. Se fixer des objectifs est l\u2019un des moteurs les plus puissants du d\u00e9veloppement personnel. Les objectifs difficiles m\u00e8nent \u00e0 de meilleures performances que les objectifs faciles, l\u2019absence d\u2019objectifs ou m\u00eame des objectifs abstraits du type \u00ab fais de ton mieux \u00bb (Latham, 2009).<\/p><p>Mon meilleur temps sur semi-marathon \u00e9tait de 1 h 40, donc pour moi 1 h 24 \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s ambitieux. Aurais-je pu viser plus haut ? J\u2019en doute. Mais ce que la course m\u2019a le plus appris, ce n\u2019est pas le chrono que tu atteins : le vrai d\u00e9fi, ce n\u2019est pas de commencer \u00e0 courir, c\u2019est de continuer \u00e0 courir au fil des jours, des mois et des ann\u00e9es.<\/p><p>Et ce n\u2019est pas seulement moi qui le dis : la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 est le principal obstacle pour la plupart des coureurs (Franken, Bekhuis &amp; Tolsma, 2022).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Motivation intrins\u00e8que : le carburant invisible<\/h2><p>Dans mon cas, la motivation intrins\u00e8que a \u00e9t\u00e9 essentielle : je voulais courir vite, me sentir fort et me sentir bien dans mon corps. La th\u00e9orie de l\u2019autod\u00e9termination (Ryan &amp; Deci, 2000 ; 2017) explique que lorsque nous courons pour des raisons internes \u2014 le plaisir, le d\u00e9veloppement personnel ou le bien-\u00eatre \u2014 nous avons plus de chances de maintenir l\u2019habitude sur le long terme.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Quand il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019objectifs clairs, cette motivation intrins\u00e8que se dilue : on perd le lien avec nos valeurs et avec le \u00ab pourquoi \u00bb on court. La litt\u00e9rature le confirme : l\u2019absence d\u2019objectifs clairs est l\u2019un des principaux freins, avec une faible estime de soi, la peur ou le manque de <a href=\"https:\/\/buddypacer.com\/fr\/por-que-pospones-salir-a-correr-y-como-evitarlo\/\" target=\"_self\">soutien social<\/a> (Collazo-Casti\u00f1eira et al., 2025).<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">Le creux apr\u00e8s avoir atteint un objectif<\/h2><p>Ce qui est curieux, c\u2019est que mes plus grosses baisses de motivation sont arriv\u00e9es juste apr\u00e8s avoir atteint un objectif. Et je ne suis pas le seul : beaucoup de coureurs disent la m\u00eame chose.<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Cette ann\u00e9e, j\u2019ai arr\u00eat\u00e9 le chrono \u00e0 Getafe en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/13455867942\/best-efforts\" target=\"_self\">1 h 24\u201948\u201d<\/a>. Je pourrais dire : objectif atteint. On ne sait pas toujours, chaque jour, \u00e0 quoi on veut aspirer, et c\u2019est normal. Mais avoir un objectif d\u2019entra\u00eenement quotidien, m\u00eame petit, aide \u00e0 garder la motivation.<\/p><p>Si tu as d\u00e9j\u00e0 un objectif, partage-le. Si ce n\u2019est pas le cas, rejoins celui d\u2019un autre runner qui correspond \u00e0 ton emploi du temps, ton allure et ta localisation.
